Major improvements at the rescue
Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to successfully complete four major improvements to the facility since November 2023:
New Epoxy Flooring
A new epoxy floor was applied in the community cat room creating a more hygienic and safe environment for the cats in our care.
New Gravel Parking Lot
Visitor parking at the rescue was limited prior to this gravel lot expansion. The lower lot was leveled and gravel was applied to provide overflow parking for visitors and volunteers.
New Guillotine Doors
Guillotine doors were installed for 35 dog kennels to improve access to outdoor playtime for dogs who wait at the rescue for their home placements.
Catio Enclosure Installation
The new catio enclosure allows our cats to explore the great outdoors in the safety of the enclosure. During ambient weather, cats get much needed stimulation outside adjacent to the community cat room.
