• We take owner surrenders for cats and dogs as we have room. When circumstances become impossible for an owner to care for their pet, we work with them to take in their pet and re-home them. We understand how difficult it can be to give up a beloved pet. We work very hard to re-home the pet into a home that is a good fit for the animal and the new owner.
• This is done on a case-by-case basis, and as we have room. We cannot accommodate every request for an owner surrender.
• You are welcome to fill out our Waiting List form below.
• Application for our waiting list does not guarantee we can take your animal and we cannot estimate how long it may be on the waiting list.
• Cats must be current on rabies and distemper vaccines and have a negative feline leukemia test.
• For cat surrenders, if at all possible please have cats or kittens in a pet carrier or a secure box.
• Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella vaccines.
• There is a $50.00 intake charge for both cats and dogs, along with a $15.00 fee for any additional vaccine we have to administer upon intake.
